If you think we're over-selling our pack-fresh '52 Topps cards, think again. The majority are as fresh and sweet as the day they came to life in Brooklyn. Take the offered Turk Lown high-number, for example, which boasts a MINT to GEM MINT perimeter at every point but its NM/MT to NM/MT+ lower left corner. It also boasts a predominantly MINT surface, tempered to NM/MT by a lone grain of thicker paper stock in Turk's cheek, a common trait, especially in early Topps cards, that many collectors argue shouldn't affect grading one bit. A tolerable centering shift for the SW seals the deal at NM/MT 8, but oh what super elite 8 it is!
