The finest PSA 8 NM/MT 1952 Topps card these eyes have ever seen! Is it because it features 8-time World Series champion, Hank Bauer, that it received such harsh scrutiny at PSA? Is it because only 3 copies have ever graded higher from nearly 500 submissions to PSA? Or is because the north-to-south centering just exceeds the tolerance for higher consideration, at PSA? One corner, the bottom right, is NM/MT, the other three are near perfect GEMS (though one shows a NM/MT+ touch on back). Likewise, one edge, the bottom, is NM/MT, and the other three are MINT and borderline GEM, while both surfaces and especially the image are just about perfect as well. Merely high-end? Or too conservatively graded? You decide!
