Nearly identical in terms of condition to the preceding PSA 8 NM/MT 1952 Topps example of Frank Overmire, the only thing different about this pack-fresh stunner of Howie Judson is that it reports just 16 examples on record in the NM/MT 8 tier compared to 35 Overmires, so naturally it grades a little tougher, right? But we jest the PSA graders! A very close inspection indeed supports the opined grade, as there appears to be a microscopic, grade-tolerable cleft in the enamel near the lower right corner. One of the single toughest 1952 Topps regular issues to find in top grades, only one other NM+ 7.5 and one MINT 9 exist!
