Offered is one of the hobby's finest 1950 Bowman examples of Italian-born, Hall of Fame lineman, Leo Nomellini, who holds the distinctions of being the 49ers first-ever NFL Draft choice and playing in the 49ers first-ever game and then playing in every single 49er game thereafter for the next 14 years straight. The "indestructible" Italian-immigrant-turned-gridiron-great is also one of very few linemen in history to earn All-NFL recognition on both sides of the ball. Don't be fooled by the jumbo borders on this one; the card is certainly well-centered enough for its MINT 9 grade, and it boasts a pristinely registered image along with a sufficiently sharp perimeter for the MINT grade as well.
