Long-cherished as one of the set's iconic poses, the 1950 Bowman Johnny Lujack issue pins a perfect pose of the 1947 Heisman Trophy winner against a majestic violet sky, making for one of the greatest early gridiron images ever applied to cardboard. The offered ultra high-end example boasts near perfect centering with a nearly immaculate MINT to GEM MINT perimeter around a pristinely registered image, held back from GEM MINT 10 overall by two or three too many typical print dots in the purple backdrop. One of just 7 examples ever graded PSA 9 MINT.
