Graded PSA 9 MINT. Offered is one of the hobby's top-five finest PSA-graded 1950 Bowman examples of Elmer Angsman, a star running back from the game's formative days of the 1940s. Elmer starred at Notre Dame, playing for the 1943 National Championship team as well as the College All-Star team that famously defeated the reigning NFL champion Cleveland Rams. In the NFL, he joined Charles Bidwill's "Dream Backfield," going on to win the 1947 Championship game against the Eagles, in which Angsman had 10 carries for 159 yards and 2 scores, his 15.9 yard per carry average a record to this day.
