Game-used jersey collectors, here's a vintage beauty that will excite you! This AFL All-Star jersey dates back to the 1969-70 season and was worn by tight end Willie Frazier in the very last game in AFL history! Included is a signed affidavit from Willie Frazier, attesting that this is the original jersey he wore in the 1969 AFL Pro-Bowl, how’s that for provenance? The jersey is a classic Wilson size 48, with label attached to the bottom front tail. Numerals are sewn on in royal blue tackle twill and are full block font style. Most interesting and important are the two round, orange and blue AFL patches. As a tribute to the AFL in the league’s final game before the merger, the AFL’s founding father, Lamar Hunt, had these patches added to the uniform. As they were only used for this one game, the patches in and of themselves are highly coveted by collectors. The sleeves have been custom cut by Frazier in the same fashion worn by fellow receiver Fred Biletnikoff. The jersey shows heavy game use, with several small holes and stains. LOA from Willie Frazier, Lou Lampson, and Mile High Card Co.
