The presented example of "Iron Man" McGinnity's T201 Mecca Double Folder has been extremely conservatively assessed at the NM 7 level by PSA but appears, even under intense magnification, far closer to MINT condition than to NM. The reverse shows the same obvious centering preference for the west edge found on most T201s, but the front shows no sliver of the adjacent card(s) from which it was cut, while the corners register as NM/MT and the edges closer to MINT. I'm looking for some sort of stain or paper loss indicative of the harsh grade, but both surfaces appear significantly above-grade as well, making a strong argument for consideration as the finest example of the scant 7 copies in its class (and maybe even including its 4 superiors in the NM/MT 8 grade as well for consideration as the finest extant). An extremely high-end example of one of the toughest T201 HOFers to find in top grades!
