The featured example Pee Wee Reese's intimate and highly coveted 1952 Topps high-number has been graded NM/MT 8 by the cardboard authorities at PSA but appears to be in remarkable NM/MT+ to even MINT condition in every other facet but for its self-evident centering inclination for the right border. A virtually faultless GEM MINT upper left corner stands guard over the remainder of the NM/MT+ to MINT perimeter, which might more accurately be called MINT overall since its only non-GEM features are some microscopic wear to its remaining corners and a single minuscule chip (or fleck; it's not really big enough to be called a chip) on the right side of the top edge. The reverse appears to be in immaculate GEM MINT condition, while the shimmering obverse showcases predominantly clean MINT to GEM MINT features save for a few debatable and diminutive specks of NM/MT+ print dust. In short, a pack-fresh and borderline MINT 1952 Topps high-numbered Hall of Famer with centering that just so happens to favor the right edge to a degree inappropriate for anything higher than NM/MT consideration. Despite its centering, however, we'd be remiss not to pump the above-grade virtues of this unequivocally high-end '52 Topps Reese, whose stature in the ultra competitive market for high-grade '52 Topps high-numbers is anything but "pee wee!"
