Here is a tremendously appealing and seemingly pack-fresh 1952 Topps high-number featuring Smoky Burgess, recently graded PSA 8 NM/MT due almost entirely to some microscopic enamel wear at the very tips of its front corners, as every other feature appears sharp and clean enough to at least be considered for NM/MT+ 8.5. From the back, the card appears virtually perfect, with MINT to GEM MINT corners and edges around a pristine surface boasting perfect print and centering. The front, however, reveals a minor centering bias for the west border, as well as NM/MT+ edges and a NM/MT+ image that at first appears nearly immaculate until we find some fine print on Smoky's chin and lower left cheek. A smooth layer of still shimmering gloss to top it all off, however, makes this one heck of a high-end PSA 8, and a very obvious upgrade over the majority of its 29 competitors in its advanced class!
