Up for auction is one of the finest 1961 Topps Yogi Berra MVP subset cards these eyes have ever seen. With 14 competitors in its class and just a lone superior in the GEM 10 category from 575 submissions, we doubt any of those, the lone GEM included, can really hold a candle to this transcendent slice of virtually perfect cardboard. Nearly every single facet presents incredibly pristine GEM MINT qualities, save for hardly a perceptible ridge in the stock along the reverse left edge, perfectly characteristic of Topps cards and obviously tolerated by PSA, and a reverse centering inclination for the north and east edges, although the entire printed area is well within those edges, and that's all that really matters for reverse centering. Everything else--corners, edges, obverse centering, surfaces, and registration--indeed appear to be perfect.
