From the classic '57 Topps football set, this Johnny Unitas rookie card is one of the most recognized and iconic cards of the football genre. The first thing the admiring enthusiast encounters is the incredible depth and fullness of the orange and green background, completely free from stray print overrun and accentuated by a healthy layer of shimmering gloss that flaunts the fine detail of Unitas' iconic image. Corner and edge sharpness are befitting of the assessed grade, while the only discernable flaw, if you can really call it that, is the centering, which shows an ever so slight preference for the southwest. Very highly recommended!
