Surpassed by just a single superior specimen on record, offered is an incredibly impressive example of Pete Rose's popular 1967 Topps issue that has very recently been graded PSA 9 MINT. Faultless GEM MINT right corners combine with microscopically inferior MINT to MINT+ left point to support sturdy MINT edges around a vibrant MINT obverse. With just a touch of roughness along the reverse top edge, the back is even more impressive, with no other wear evident anywhere around the perimeter, and with a truly eye-popping spread of green and black print. 723 hits after his first four seasons, it's hard to imagine this young kid from Cinci's Price Hill neighborhood would one day surpass Ty Cobb as baseball's all-time hits leaders, but records, they say, are made to be broken--most records, that is!
