While he was the last quarterback of the 1983 quarterback class to be taken in the first round, Dan Marino became one of the most prolific quarterbacks in league history, holding or having held almost every major NFL passing record. Marino was named first or second-team All-Pro eight times and is a member of both the College and Pro Football Hall of Fame's. This white, mesh jersey can be considered a home or road jersey. Standard NFL policy dictates the home team declares whether they will jersey they will wear. Most home teams wear colored jerseys at home, with only the Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys wearing white home jerseys. Both teams do this to let their fans see the other teams colors, but to also force the other teams to wear dark colors under the usually intense heat of their respective cities. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" manufacturers tag, with an attached size "48" tag. There is no year tag. On the front, rear, and both sleeves is the player number "13" in aqua and orange screen print. Across the back is a white name plate with the player name "MARINO" in aqua screen print. On the front at the neck is the official "NFL" logo patch. On each sleeve is the "Wilson" logo patch, and the Dolphins team emblem. The jersey has white spandex sides and custom open sleeves. Autographed "Dan Marino 13" on the back number 1 in black marker and rates a 9. The jersey shows light quarterback game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
