The featured 1988 Fleer Michael Jordan card has been graded GEM MINT 9.5 by BGS and is one of just 22 examples of this famous third-year MJ issue to realize GEM from nearly 3,000 submissions to the Dallas-based grading firm. Far more scrupulous than PSA, the Beckett graders very rarely award MINT or better marks for edges on this surprisingly challenging issue, which almost always shows minor to moderate white patches in the middle of the colored side edges on one or both surfaces. While not perfect, this one certainly shows stalwart enough perimeter features for the opined grade, with borderline PRISTINE centering and surfaces to boot! Very rarely offered, one of Mike's most elusive and coveted regular Fleer issues to encounter in GEM MINT condition from BGS.
