Moreover, the presented "Purple People Eater" is one of just 58 total GEMS to ever surface from well over 18,000 submissions encompassing the entire 1965 Philadelphia set, long considered a challenge in high-grade due to its susceptible red-printed reverse border design. A true "ten's ten," the presented gridiron GEM shows absolutely no reverse perimeter wear whatsoever, while the obverse is even more impressive, with perfect centering around an exceptionally well-printed image for the issue beneath an abundant application of still shimmering gloss.
