Inspired by the radio and later TV series "Sergeant Preston of the Yukon," this 36-card set issued in 1950 by Quaker Oats features brilliant, multi-colored artwork of our hero and his lead sled dog, Yukon King, in their battle to thwart evil-doers in the Northern wilderness as a member of the Northwest Mounted Police during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. In all, this high-grade set features 19 PSA 9 MINT issues and 2 PSA 10 GEM MINT specimens, making close to 60% of the entire set MINT or better.
