Up for auction is an upper grade example of Ray Nitschke's popular 1963 Topps rookie issue, astutely graded NM/MT 8 by the cardboard gurus out of Newport Beach. Faint NM/MT touches to both left corners combine with a NM/MT+ to MINT perimeter elsewhere to girdle a precisely registered but marginally off-centered image of just the fifth player to ever have his number (66) retired in Green Bay, and just the second player from the Lombardi era (along with Bart Starr) to receive the honor.
