A successor to the 1934 National Chicle Sky Bird set, Goudey issued a 24-card Sky Bird set of their own in 1941, designed to attract the interest of a generation which was becoming more and more fascinated with air travel and technology. This specimen of an Italian Fiat bi-plane exhibits a clean surface and lightly touched corners indicative of a PSA 7 NM issue, and the amazing colors and artistic beauty of this impressive issue rival any sports or non-sports issue ever produced.
