The presented 1961 Topps example of Mickey Mantle has been graded NM 7 by PSA due to its mildly touched NM left corners and self-evident NM centering preference for the southeast corner, counterbalanced by a significantly above-grade image that appears to border on perfection save for a few light surface scratches in the abundant, factory-fresh coating of gloss. Intensely bold and brilliantly registered with an unusual absence of the damnable print snow that so commonly plagues the dark backdrop of this iconic Mantle issue.
