Rare 19th Century baseball cards never cease to amaze the collecting enthusiast, and there's plenty to be excited about with this 1888 N162 Goodwin Champions issue of Hall of Famer Dan Brouthers, graded GAI 5 EX. A stunning display of blue surrounding the detailed portrait of "Big Dan" creates a feast for the senses, with a deep registration that shows very few signs of its 120+ years of existence save for a few small marks on the right border. Four slightly rounded corners and a well printed reverse, which exhibits a little bit of color fade, equally stand up well to the rigors of time.
