The featured example of Johnny Podres' 1957 Topps issue has been recently graded MINT 9 by PSA and reports just a dozen like it with none graded higher from well over 500 submissions to the SoCal-based grading firm. Borderline GEM MINT corners join sufficiently MINT edges around a breathtaking and statuesque image of the 1955 World Series MVP against the familiar backdrop of Ebbets Field. Intense and predominantly clean hues dominate both surfaces, with a copious coating of gloss serving as the highlight to the accurately registered image. By far the single finest copy we've ever encountered!
