A specialty issue released by Topps, the 1956 Topps Pin Set used the same portraits found on the 1956 Topps baseball cards but with solid color backgrounds. The 1-1/8" round pins were sold in boxes and could be purchased with a piece of bubblegum for five cents. For unknown reasons, the pins of Chuck Diering, Hector Lopez, and Chuck Stobbs are extremely scarce and are generally considered the most valuable of the set. Offered is the complete 60-pin set in overall NM/MT condition, including the three scarce issues as well as Aaron, Banks, Berra, Hodges, Kaline, Mays, J. Robinson, T. Williams, and many other great stars. A fantastic addition for the avid collector!
