Major-General Nelson Miles (1839 – 1925) served in the American Civil War, Indian Wars and the Spanish–American War, and is famous for the capture of Apache chief Geronimo. Presented is an historic group of items that includes a signature of Miles on a 1 1/4" x 4" cut, an 1880 graduation program from West Point, where Miles gave the commencement speech, and a 1911 Western Union Telegraph page from Miles with the accompanying envelope.
