When considering the magnitude of the offered historically significant collectible, two relatively comparable items come quickly to mind. The first is a certain priceless historical document signed by both Washington and Jefferson (the document's author) during the formation of the United States of America. The second, a more comparable item featured in a 2007 Beckett Magazine article discussing the single greatest cards of the 21st century, is a somewhat similar dual cut autograph card manufactured by the Upper Deck Company, the famous 2004 SP Legendary Combo Cuts George Washington and Thomas Jefferson fold-out. The presented marvel hails from the 2006 Topps Co-Signers release and features two clearly legible endorsements from the hands of our country's greatest founding fathers. The GW signature rates a strong "9" or "10" as it features a fold between the "W" and "a" of Washington (otherwise, it would rate a solid "10"). The Jefferson signature, on the other hand, rates in the "8" to "9" range but is still just as bold and legible and breathtaking as the Washington cut. The card itself is in surprisingly strong MINT condition for such a thick 1/1 modern masterpiece and comes with authentication from Topps right on the reverse. A staggering collectible of uncompromising beauty and significance! Easily one of the single greatest trading cards ever produced in the long and storied history of the famous Topps Company.
