Issued in 1990 by Imperial Publishing, Ltd., of London, the American Golfers, A Series of 20, featured borderless fronts with likenesses (in what almost appears to be water color paint) of Nicklaus, Couples, Crenshaw, Floyd, O'Meara, Palmer, Stewart, Strange, Trevino, Watson, and others. Backs feature brief bios with extensive statistics in blue ink. Offered in one lot are two complete sets, both in their original packaging and in MINT condition. One of the sets is almost completely autographed, with bold endorsements from the following: Payne Stewart, Lee Trevino, Curtis Strange, Ray Floyd, Tom Kite, Tom Watson, Mark O'Meara, Lanny Wadkins, Jack Nicklaus, Fred Couples, Ben Crehshaw, Arnold Palmer, Chip Beck, Mark Calcavecchia, Larry Nelson, and Scott Hoch. A great oddball group with some tough autographs, perfect for grading!
