I actually watched this game on TV back in 1988, but the original owner of this PSA 5 graded ticket stub got to see the action live of Hall of Famer John Smoltz making his major league debut on July 23rd, giving up one run in 8 innings and earning the victory. Smoltz added 212 more wins and 154 saves over the next 21 seasons.
