In many ways, the 1986 Fleer basketball series mirrors the 1952 Topps baseball set; a pioneering collection from a company with a long history of producing trading cards but trying their hand in a new market. In Fleer's case, it was a second attempt as their 1961 collection came and went. Featured is a near-complete set with just the Michael Jordan rookie card needed for completion. Includes #1 Abdul-Jabbar NM/MT (OC), 7 Barkley EX, 9 Bird EX (OC), 26 Drexler NM (OC), 27 Dumars EX, 31 Erving NM (OC), 32 Ewing NM+ (OC), 53 M. Johnson EX/MT (OC), 68 K. Malone NM/MT (OC), 82 Olajuwon VG/EX, 109 I. Thomas NM/MT (OC), 121 Wilkins EX/MT (OC), 131 Worthy EX, and 132 checklist. The rest of the set is 20% NM or better, 30% EX/MT, 40% EX, and 10% lower, mostly due to centering issues.
