His "Airness" is featured on this elusive high-end issue from Star Company. A stunning red border surrounds a young MJ pulling down a rebound amongst a crowd of defenders. The four corners project as solid NM+ to NM/MT points with an ever so slight bit of white at the extreme tips of the corners. The surface is replete with a layer of gloss and the image is perfectly registered. The centering is slightly shifted to the left which is almost expected for the issue. The salmon-colored reverse is well-printed with nary a chip to be found along the edges. From Star's first run, and MJ's true rookie card.
