His claim to fame as the third base coach during the 1979 Pirates' "We Are Family" championship run, Joe Lonnett's game-used 1984 Pirates jersey is now up for auction. Under the Descente manufacturer's label is a team swatch with "32 44 84" to denote number, size, and year. The name has been removed from the back but the outline of the letters can be seen.
