Perhaps the most coveted and certainly the most controversial card from the almost mythical 1980 Topps Pepsi series, the example of Yankees ace Ron Guidry was manufactured with an inverse photo, making it appear that "Louisiana Lightning" was a righty facing to his left when his regular 1980 Topps card correctly depicts him as a lefty facing to the right. Rumor has it that the few surviving sheets from this proposed project were hand-cut and sold off by the Topps Vault but the Guidry cards were destroyed because of the error, with only one or two surviving. While we can't verify the story, we can say that this is one of the rarest cards ever produced over the last 40 years, offered in very impressive SGC 8 condition.
