Nobody in baseball history worked the base paths quite like Hall of Famer Lou Brock. His 118 swipes in 1974 broke Maury Wills’ modern day single-season record and paved the way for future base thieves Rickey Henderson and Vince Coleman, making “the art of the steal” an integral part of the American Pastime. Presented is a game-used St. Louis Cardinals jacket worn by Lou Brock. This lightweight satin jacket has great label wear, suggesting that it was worn by Brock for the majority of a season. Identification comes via a “20” written in black felt tip on the Wilson size 40 collar tag, which also contains a “CY” inventory flag. LOA from Lou Lampson, Mile High Card Co.
