The Transogram cards were originally issued on the backs of boxes containing toy statues of baseball players; as such, they are always found hand-cut or still part of the box. The offered group has been cut from the boxes, and the box side panels have been cut out and included as well. Cards are unnumbered, but there is a number on each box's end flap, which is how they are listed in the Standard Catalog. Numbers 1-30, the American League portion of the set, is offered here, in overall VG to VG-EX condition. The number 30 Mantle card is one of the nicer VG-EX cards in the group.
