One of the most popular cards in the series, the 1969 Topps Nolan Ryan issue features the 300-game winner with his original team, the New York Mets, and is the first Topps issue that depicts Ryan on his own card as he was relegated to sharing the spotlight with fellow Mets hurler Jerry Koosman the previous year. Graded PSA 9, the card shows astute centering, MINT corners, and a clean central image that has been speared the usual heavy stray print that prevents such a high grade. The reverse is equally elite, retaining its deep salmon color as expected of a pasteboard with such a high assessment. A key card for any advanced collection.
