Here's a high-grade second-year specimen of the incomparable Nolan Ryan, issued by Topps in 1969. This one displays excellent contrast and clarity with a noticeable absence of errant print marks in the interior, particularly in the purple name circle. Corners easily meet the standards for the opined designation and the reverse is deeply saturated and boldly struck. A very worthy example of the Ryan Express on the first card dedicated solely to him.
