The Topps Chewing Gum Company issued these Deckle Edge cards in 1969 as a 33-card set. The name comes from the scalloped edges which give a unique look to these pasteboards. The blue facsimile autographs stand out nicely from the black and white player photographs on the fronts. This near set offers 28 of the 33 cards, with numbers 17, 18, 26, 27, and 33 absent, and no duplicates. These cards range in condition from EX-MT to NM-MT with most being NM or better. Included in the upper end of the set are Brooks Robinson (NM), Yastrzemski (NM), Luis Aparicio (NM+), Rod Carew (NM), and Bob Gibson (NM).
