Time to go “old school” with this 1969 Atlanta Braves flannel jersey, worn by starting pitcher George Stone when the Braves eventually fell to the World Champion “Amazin’ Mets” in the 1969 National League Championship. This awesome gamer exhibits outstanding game use, with sporadic wear to the flannel material as well as fabric breaches on the back numbers. The proper Spalding and size 42 tag are stitched onto the front tail, as are the laundry label and “Set 1 1969” tag. A Major League Baseball 100th Anniversary patch is stitched on the right sleeve. Stitched inside the collar is a “40 42 69” tag (partially detached from the stitching from use) to denote jersey number, size, and year. Fantastic! LOA from Mile High Card Co.
