Coming off of a career-best .357 batting average that earned him his fourth National League batting title and the seventh of his 12 consecutive Gold Glove awards, it was clear that while Roberto Clemente didn't have the power stroke of a Mays, Mantle, Aaron, or Banks, he was every bit the complete player. And while most collectors who have not tried to put together a world-class 1968 Topps set tend to think that cards from the set are relatively common in MINT or GEM MINT grades, not so for Pirates legend Roberto Clemente's card #150. The presented MINT specimen offers an incredibly precise image of the stately HOFer in the forefront of lively pigmentation that makes up the grass and sky. All four corners appear virtually untouched with several pushing for GEM MINT status. Any PSA Set Registry member will be pleased with this!
