The 1968 Topps baseball release remains popular among collectors for several reasons: it features the rookie cards of Hall of Famers Nolan Ryan and Johnny Bench, it offers one of the final appearances of Mickey Mantle, and it has a fresh appearance highlighted by brown and white borders that can often prove to be problematic in terms of condition sensitivity.
