While his heroics with the New York Yankees were long in the past, Roger Maris still had one bit of magic left in his game, contributing to helping the St. Louis Cardinals reach the 1968 World Series. This gray Rawlings XL undershirt with cut-off Cardinals red leaves was worn by Maris on the field of battle and shows his name written on the back in black marker. Pulls in the fabric denote excellent use. A unique piece, donned by the one-time single-season home run king. Comes with a handwritten letter of authenticity from teammate Dick Schofield, stating that the sweatshirt was given to him by Maris at the lend of the 1968 season.
