Considered a rising prospect for many seasons, Roberto Clemente sealed his legacy as one of baseball's true greats after completing his fifth consecutive .300+ batting season in 1964. More importantly, "Arriba" secured his second career National League batting crown, returning with a close-up portrait and obvious aura of confidence for this 1965 Topps pasteboard. Without a GEM MINT specimen on record at PSA, this MINT example is among the highest graded specimens out there. The immaculate surface booms from clean colors and a generous layer of gloss while corners and edges register at the MINT to GEM MINT level.
