A lot of collectors claim that the 1964 Topps set lacks pizzazz. Obviously they don't own a MINT copy of Roberto Clemente's card. Graced with plenty of rich blue and red pigment as well as a luminescent orange reverse, this PSA 9 example is bested by just one specimen graded higher out of over 2,000 PSA submissions. Each corner earns MINT status and maybe more, while the clean white on the obverse makes this one of the most attractive specimens we've seen of this issue. Even the centering, often a deal breaker to achieving elite-level status, is practically spot on. Any advanced Clemente collector or 1964 Topps PSA Set Registry participant should want to get their hands on this one!
