Taking design elements from their 1953 offering, Topps 1963 release is often considered by collectors as one of the best vintage sets ever produced. Using impressive full portrait photos and vivid accent colors, it was a refreshing change from previous years. It's addition of multi-player rookie cards added a new element to the set while keeping the total number of cards manageable for collectors.
