Offered is an exceptionally high end and altogether attractive 1962 Topps Baseball complete set in exceptionally high grade. In 1962, Topps went far outside the norm by issuing the first set to include a completely colored border, a departure from the norm. Topps didn't just issue a series with a colored border but rather one that displayed a wood grained motif of differing shades. A common dialogue between hobbyists who enjoyed the pursuit of Topps' complete sets from the '50s and '60s could usually be summed up by the following: "My sets are in pretty good shape, except for the '62s; I need to spend some more time on that one."
