In 1961, Roberto Clemente took the advice of the Pirates' batting coach, George Sisler, to use a heavier bat to slow down his swing, and the result was the first of four National League batting titles. The offered 1961 Topps specimen is nearly perfect in every way and manages to come through the production process with very accurate centering, certainly not a given with the 1961 Topps series. Factor in the wealth of bold color and near GEM MINT endpoints and you've got a wonderful specimen to pace any Clemente or '61 Topps set. Only 2 have graded higher at PSA.
