Presented is an alluring example of Roger Maris's 1960's nodder. Maris teamed with another great Yankee Mickey Mantle to form the M&M boys and chase down the historic homerun record held by the immortal Babe Ruth, with Maris eventually breaking the hallowed record with 61 HRs in 1961. At about the same time the featured bobbin head was available for sale and was most likely amongst the most popular artifacts for all young boys. The offered item displays a terrific overall paint job with some small nicks on the cap as well as some missing paint on the left shoulder.
