Following up the bright pumpkin backdrop of the previous year's offering, the Topps Company again created a brilliantly pigmented card of Mickey Mantle that stands as a fan favorite. This 1959 Topps card of the "The Mick" is a real eye-catcher, with deep red background pigmentation surrounding a central image circle that delivers a sharp and concise image of Mantle, flanked by NM/MT to NM/MT+ endpoints and centering that just mildly favors the top edge, well within the tolerances for the grade.
