One thing you have to give Topps credit for is their ability to "mix it up" a bit, and that held true when they followed up their "on field" shots from the 1957 set with the varying, single-color backdrops of the '58 series. Although the debut card of Roger Maris is the most significant rookie pasteboard, the set is nonetheless extremely popular for it's aesthetic qualities. The featured collection contains a little more than half of a complete with most of the key cards plus almost 100 duplicates that include three of #487 Mantle AS (VG/EX and two VG).
