While the 1957 Topps football series is highly collected for its array of superstars and bold colors, it's the rookie cards of Unitas, Hornung and Starr that power its popularity. Since we're offering the debut pasteboards of Starr and Johnny U, let's complete the trifecta with this world-class example of Hall of Famer Paul Hornung. The incessant Packers favorite was the #1 overall pick in the 1957 NFL Draft after winning the Heisman trophy in 1956. His NFL resume includes two Pro Bowl appearances and four league championships en route to his enshrinement in Canton. The featured card appears commensurate with the opined grade with four terrifically sharp corners as well as a freshness of subject not usually encountered. The centering shows a slight shift to the right being its one main fault regarding a higher assessment.
