Graced with very accurate centering, four consistent NM/MT corners, and a pleasing rough cut on the top and bottom horizontal edges, this is certainly one of the nicer '56 Topps Mantle PSA 8's you will ever come across and unquestionably PSA Set Registry worthy. Mick's portrait is impressively registered, with excellent color and contrast and no traces of stray print whatsoever. The famed but typically crude in-action shot to the left is even more remarkable, as "The Mick" takes on a few fans that are attempting to thwart his home run stealing catch. In short, a high-end PSA 8 NM/MT specimen of one of the Mick's most celebrated issues.
